USEFUL LINKS AND STEM-ORIENTED SCHOLARSHIPS
The U.S. Department of Education has forecast that STEM-related occupations will grow as much as 60% by 2020. While women and minorities have long been underrepresented in the field, now is an excellent time to help change that. Here is a newly created guide: The Best Colleges for STEM Students. It’s a comprehensive and easy search.
STEM pages covering licenses and professional certifications can be found at http://www.collegeaffordabilityguide.org/subjects/engineering/, http://www.collegeaffordabilityguide.org/subjects/math/, http://www.collegeaffordabilityguide.org/subjects/computer-science/, http://www.collegeaffordabilityguide.org/subjects/life-sciences/, and http://www.collegeaffordabilityguide.org/subjects/physical-sciences/.
Here we have compiled a comprehensive and inclusive list of scholarships that aims to provide information about opportunities for students at all educational levels.
Throughout this list, however, are several external databases that we suggest you search. These sites are populated with thousands of scholarships with combined values of millions of dollars.
Often, these sites allow you to customize your search and determine which scholarships you are eligible for. These sites typically provide other helpful information regarding the scholarship application process.
These databases exist within some of the more specific categories in this list so that you can maximize your opportunities. Keep in mind that the scholarships in this list are dedicated to offering opportunities to students with all backgrounds and interests.
This does not only include STEM scholarships. As you explore this list, please consider all categories that may apply to your needs!
On another note, if you have not filled out your FAFSA yet, please do! For many scholarships, this will demonstrate your financial need. This also opens up opportunities for you to receive federal grants. Here is the link:

Who is Eligible for Native American Scholarships?
Eligibility for scholarships is determined by the institution offering a given bursary. Generally speaking, there are specific eligibility requirements for Native American higher education scholarships. Typically, these scholarships are only open to individuals registered as members of a federally recognized tribe or ethnicity. Some scholarships are available to descendants of registered members if they retain strong cultural ties to a specific tribe or nation. Fortunately, many scholarships are open to all Native American, Native Hawaiian, and Alaska Native applicants.
