NMTC VISIONARY AWARDS
The NMTC create collaborative events for its members to build the STEM-educated workforce and advance technology and innovation. This awards ceremony includes all three as it honors the individuals doing the creating, building, and advancing for the benefit of our regional community. This gala , now virtual, includes key corporate sponsors, leading education institutions, senior Aberdeen Proving Ground leaders and scientists, NMTC’s senior leadership and member company presidents and other distinguished attendees. Our honorees are recommended by the Academy of Visionary Awards along with the NMTC Visionary Awards Committee – a very deliberative process and worthy of the contributions these honorees make continuously to our community. The Academy of Visionary Awards will now total 137 honorees of these awards.
GOLF4STEM
The Annual NMTC GOLF4STEM Tournament the first Monday supports the Northeastern Maryland Tech Council, its Women In STEM Scholarships and community technology workforce programs.
A fun day with prizes to the Top Teams and winners of the Longest Drive, Closest To The Pin, and Putting contests. Plus, a chance to win big in our Hole-In-One contest.
Golfers enjoy individual Hospitality Bags, Multiple Hospitality Stations, with a Celebratory Lunch at the end of play.
WORLD OF WINE (WOW)
World of Wine (WOW) is our most popular and attended collaborative event. The spectacular waterfront facility, La Banque at the Seaplane Base, offers expansive views of the Susquehanna River and the Chesapeake Bay. Verandas, decks, and tent areas provide the ideal setting for visiting, networking, and of course, tasting our outstanding wine, bourbon, scotch, and craft beer selections or smoking a unique cigar from our cigar bar. Capping it off is a stroll along the water, watching the last rays of the day ripple across the Susquehanna.
