Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality – A Game Changer for Accessibility
I think we can all agree that virtual reality and augmented reality are pretty cool! You’re completely immersed in a new world, or can enhance the world around you. If you’ve ever tried it, you know what I mean. I mean who doesn’t love those snapchat filters and Pokemon go?
For an individual without any impairments, virtual reality and augmented reality is an exciting and fun experience.
But, have you ever thought about what augmented reality and virtual reality could mean for a person with a disability? Initially, you may think that a person with a disability may not be able to interact with VR/AR, but it’s in fact the opposite. Virtual reality and augmented reality can change a disabled person’s life completely.
