The NMTC hosted its 13th STEM Summit, 13 November, at the Towson University-NE campus, with attendance of about 70, including key leadership at APG, and presenters form our academic partners; Cecil, Baltimore and Harford Counties Public Schools, and UMBC.
The focus, as always, was how we continue to build our STEM student pipeline, along with improving student performance and participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics subjects. This summit discussed the “t” in STEM, exploring technology in education – both what technology education is being offered in schools, and how technology is used in the STEM classroom.
