A special day for NMTC. Today, representatives of the 21 member NMTC Board of Directors convened, at NMTC’s Monthly member’s meeting, to receive a proclamation from Harford County Government recognizing the NMTC. In the words of the proclamation,for:
“The valuable contributions of the Northeastern Maryland Technology Council in providing important leadership and influence regarding technology issues in the region”.
The proclamation went on to highlight NMTC’s signature programs:
The STEM Forum for its nationally recognized impact on workforce development.- The Science Cafe program, now being duplicated in other jurisdictions of Maryland.
- The Visionary Awards Gala, recognizing the idealistic leadership of community members in advancing technology opportunities and for the volunteer work of individuals introducing young people to careers in STEM.
