ROTC (Reserve Officers Training Corps) – Each branch of the military (Navy, Army, and Air Force) offers scholarships in exchange for becoming an officer in that branch after graduation.
UNCF/MERCK Science Initiatives – Offers three scholarships for African American students majoring in engineering.
Sholarships funded through grants awarded by the National Science Foundation.
Greak Lakes STEM Scholarship – $2,500 scholarship for students majoring in science, technology, engineering, or math disciplines.
Harford County Public Schools – HCPS provides a list of local scholarships on their website. The scholarships vary in award amount, and they are open to high school students studying a variety of subjects.
CMHSEA – Check out this site for scholarships (and internships) provided by Central Maryland Homeland Security Educational Alliance. Scholarships are awarded to students pursuing a variety of fields. Scholarship amount varies with individual award.
